New to Georgetown. Not New to This Work.

Clean Slate Restoration works out of 158 Guelph St, Georgetown, ON L7G 4A6, covering Georgetown, Acton and Glen Williams. The address is new. The people are not: we have spent about ten years in restoration, on water damage, burst pipes, mold, fire and the inspections that come before all of it. Halton Hills is a new location for an operation that has been doing this work for a decade.

That distinction matters, so we will be precise about it. We do not have ten years of history in Georgetown and we are not going to claim any. What we brought here is ten years of knowing what water does inside a wall, which is the part that actually protects your house.

Inspections are free, and we mean free

If you are standing in a wet basement at nine at night, you should not have to decide whether the problem is worth paying someone to look at. So we do not charge to look. We come out, meter the walls, check what you cannot see, and tell you what you are dealing with. If the answer is that you do not need us, that is the answer you get and it still costs nothing.

Charging for inspections quietly pressures a company into finding work. We would rather remove that pressure entirely. You call when you are unsure, we tell you the truth, and if there is a real job then we are already the ones who understand it.

What we will not do

Restoration has a reputation problem, and it is earned. People call in a bad moment, often at night, usually with no idea what anything should cost. That is an easy situation to exploit, and plenty of companies do.

We do not scare people into signing. We do not inflate a scope because an insurer is paying. We do not quote a number on the doorstep and a different one on the invoice, and we do not tell you a room has to come out when it can be dried. Published pricing on every service page of this site is part of the same idea: you should know the range before we knock, not after.

Insurance, and the paperwork nobody enjoys

Most people making a claim have never made one before. We photograph the loss before anything moves, keep daily moisture logs while the equipment runs, and put together the documentation your adjuster will ask for, so the claim is not a second crisis on top of the first. Ask us questions at any hour of it. Answering them is part of the job, not an extra.

Who actually shows up

A crew of two to five depending on what the job needs, with a lead on site who is responsible for it start to finish. Not a call centre that dispatches whoever is nearest and never speaks to you again. When the work runs past restoration into flooring or construction, we bring in trades we already work with rather than handing you a list of numbers and wishing you luck.

Work we do not invoice

Some of what we have done over the years has been unpaid: projects for community centres and places of worship, done because the need was there and we were able to. We are not going to turn that into a marketing section. It is mentioned here only because it is part of how this company operates, and you are entitled to know who you are letting into your home.

About reviews

This location has none yet, and you will not find invented ones here. They will come from your neighbours in Halton Hills, one job at a time.
